We’re proud to announce the speaker and guest of honor for the 2027 Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge Pre-Race Pasta Dinner is Dame Flora Duffy!

Dame Flora Duffy is Bermuda’s most decorated triathlete. She is an Olympic gold medalist, represented Bermuda in five Olympic games, a three-time ITU World Triathlon Champion, and a six-time XTERRA World Champion.

A spokesperson for Global Atlantic Re remarked, “We are incredibly proud to once again host the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge Pasta Dinner, and we couldn’t imagine a more fitting guest speaker than Dame Flora Duffy. Flora’s achievements speak for themselves, but what has always impressed us most is the way she represents Bermuda — with humility, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. She has inspired generations of Bermudians to dream bigger, work harder, and believe that remarkable things are possible from a small island with a big heart.”

Dame Flora commented, “I raced the Butterfield Front Street Mile for the first time in 1997 as a 9-year-old representing Port Royal Primary School. I took part every year through high school — it was always a prestigious event I looked forward to. I am excited to return 30 years later, both as a runner and the guest speaker.”
