Participants will run east toward Front Street and Trimingham Hill. Runners will then turn east on South Shore Road and continue on the scenic South Shore Road for approximately 4 miles. Runners will then turn left on Devil’s Hole Hill Road to Harrington Sound Road where the runners will head west. The course continues into Flatts Village and runs along the beautiful and scenic North Shore Road for approximately 4.5 miles. At the end of North Shore Road, runners will turn left onto St. John’s Road and back toward the finish on Pitts Bay Road at Barr’s Bay Park.

“Great organization from pre race to post race. Great atmosphere! Great sponsorship with plenty of sponsors along the line. And a PACER on the half marathon was a great addition this year!”

“On the half marathon there were plenty of water stops and good advance notice (I’d take a gel before the stops to chase them with water and it was easy to plan). Also it was nice to have the rum stops at scenic locations to get the iconic photos. It was cute having local kids handing out the cups.”

“Really well done, with plentiful options and reasonable lines. The rum stops during the race and at the end helped sway me to doing the challenge.”

“The runs were nicely organized and extremely well supported (food, music on course, etc). In Canada, where I run, even top grade runs aren’t as well done. The course was well marked and water stations were numerous and properly staffed.”

Time & Age Limits

Please note you must be at least 16 years of age on Sunday, January 17, 2027 to participate in this event.

There is a 4:00 time limit on the PwC Bermuda Half Marathon.

Rules of the Road

In order to comply with the agreement with the Government of Bermuda, streets along the route will be reopened to vehicular traffic on a set schedule (aka: rolling street closures). This means the entirety of course will not be closed off to traffic for the duration of the event. Runners are advised to stay on the LEFT side of the road. Traffic advisories are posted in the local newspaper and on our social media platforms. The Bermuda Police Service control the roads, with support from the Royal Bermuda Regiment and hundreds of well-trained marshals.

Medical Support

On-course medical support during the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge, on the courses and at the finish lines, is provided by St John Ambulance. We’re grateful for St John Ambulance’s continued assistance in ensuring the safety of participants during the event weekend, as well as its service throughout the year at community and sporting events across the island.
