2027 Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge – January 15-17, 2027
For more than 45 years the Bermuda Triangle Challenge has been bringing people together from around Bermuda and abroad to celebrate the joys of running on our beautiful island. BUT, we wouldn’t be able to run this epic 3-day event without the generous support of our sponsors, the tireless efforts of our hundreds of volunteers, and the event participants that choose to raise funds for local and international charities.
Join our volunteer team!
We wouldn’t be able to do it without YOU! There are dozens of volunteer opportunities to choose from depending on your experience and level of interest, from assisting at the Race Expo & Number Pickup to working during the races at water stops or as course marshals. Or, grab a group of friends and start your own cheer squad, as the Grateful Miles Run Club (shown on the left) did for our 2025 and 2026 races. Their cheer squad has grown each year and is frequently mentioned as a race highlight for overseas participants! Volunteering for the Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge is also a great way for students to earn community service hours!
Interested in helping the environment?
During the 2026 Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge, 19 junior volunteers and four adult volunteers from the Bermuda Zoological Society worked a total of 97 hours as part of our inaugural “Green Team,” helping to support our Sustainability Initiative. As we look toward 2027, we hope to organize a Green Team for each day of the event with an adult team leader and a group of committed youth volunteers who are excited to educate our participants about environmental sustainability AND help our event reduce its carbon footprint. Green Team activities might include: engaging with participants at “education activation zones” during the Expo & Number Pickup up Friday; directing participants to compost, waste, and recycling bins during Finish Festivals; or helping us create engaging, family-friendly activities that educate participants about water conservation issues in Bermuda.
This is a great way to earn community service hours for school. If you are interested, please reach out to us at: [email protected].
